Hi, My name is Charlotte Cohen! On Sunday, May 19th I’ll be walking/running to raise awareness and funds for an organization and a community that has a special place in my heart.

Friendship Circle Upper East Side works every day to cultivate friendships between kids, teens and young adults with special needs and dedicated teen and young adult volunteers, providing social and recreational opportunities that are otherwise unavailable to individuals with special needs. Hundreds of friendships have been formed and so many lives have been changed for the better because of this beautiful organization.
Being part of the Friendship Circle organization has truly been a blessing in my life. Every week, I have the privilege of spending time with a wonderful girl who has special needs, and it brings me immense joy. Our time together is filled with laughter, creativity, and heartfelt conversations. From playing Uno to drawing together, dancing, and sharing stories about our families and upcoming holidays, every moment we spend together strengthens our bond. Looking forward to our weekly meetings has become a highlight of my week. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of her life, and I hope to continue being there for her throughout high school and beyond.

Now more than ever, I’m inspired to continue supporting this special community. Anything you can give to support my walk/run will be so appreciated and go such a long way. Thank you so much!
